The Ancient Beach Resort in Mondello was the work, in the first years of 20th Century, of a Belgian society which, in the same period when the beauty of the town started spreading far and wide, proposed a lavish construction project, whose resort was designed by Rudolf Stualker and built by Giovanni Rutelli's enterprise. Although the society is now Belgian-Italian, the ownership of the place stood unchanged over the years, and still today, thanks to the good manufacture and a restoration process, in the 990s, the Ancient Resort stands still in its place.
