The Santa Severa Castle, North of Rome, at first from the distance and, later, getting closer by bike, in its yards. After the Etruscan harbour and various Roman constructions - residences and a cemetery - in the IX Century the Saracen Tower ("Maschio") was built and later it took the shape of a square fortress (XV Century) in the same period the hamlet beneath was rising.
