Before 1994, the Imola track was terrificly fast (and dangerous). The "Variante Bassa", here as seen in its 1980 shape, was radically changed, and today those two turns look like a straight, opposite to what happened to the Tamburello and Villenueve, which were redesigned after the mortal accidents occurring to Senna and Ratzenberger.
