This film, about a peculiar urban racetrack in Genoa, has a further peculiarity. The "Superba", in fact, was a car and motorbike race held from 1937 to 1961 - with the exception of the Second World War period, starting 1940. Enrico Chierici, in this occasion, films its many stages in different categories: it's September 15th, 1946, and the race is held again for the first time after the stop due to the war. In this excerpt, the amateur films the 1500 category, to its conclusion - while the cars speed by below the well recognizable San Giuliano bell tower.
