This 9.5 mm film takes us to 1945, when the Bacigalupo family, due to the bombing that had seriously damaged the villa ‘La Buona Terra’ in Rapallo, moved to the hillside of Sant'Andrea di Foggia. It is 1 April and we are in Liguria, near Rapallo, where Giuseppe Bacigalupo, with his wife Frieda, both doctors, and friends celebrate Easter with an outing in the hills and a lunch of barbecued meat. In this sequence, the preparation of the lamb spit is seen. Despite the ongoing war, which from up here seems to belong to another world, the Easter outing appears peaceful and carefree.
