In October 1943, the Boccafogli family is filmed during the apple harvest at the Magnanina. Several young women pose smiling in front of stacks of wooden crates full of freshly picked apples. In the next scene, we see them at work picking the fruit from the trees. The clip ends with a child having fun trying to hold as many apples as possible.
