Home Movies 2025 Calendar!

A year of colourful memories.

The family films of the Home Movies Foundation will keep you company throughout 2025 with a selection of 12 archive stills. For the year to come, we wish each and every one of you lively, creative and unpredictable brushstrokes: how wonderful would it be to colour the memories of the past? The 5-year-old boys and girls of sections A, B, C and D (school year 2024/25) of the ‘Zanguidi’ nursery school of the Istituto Comprensivo Salvo D'Acquisto in Parma did just that.

The illustrated stills were made as part of the workshop curated by Alexia Tzimas for the project Small formats, big memories: cinema and history by the Home Movies Foundation within the framework of the National Plan Cinema and Images for Schools, promoted by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education and Merit. The selected family films were restored and digitised as part of the ‘Archivi Vivi - Parma’ project, the collection of amateur films made by the inhabitants of Parma and its province.
