The pan shots on the "Triennale d'Oltremare", inaugurate on May 9th, 1940, and suspended a month later due to Italy entering the War, they show the site before the war detroyed it. Restored in the 1950s, it declined contonuously until the late 1990s, when it started being recoverd, and nowadays it represents a place for several events. We see, at the beginning, the Esedra Fountain - monumantal water-play inspired by the ones at the Reggia di Caserta - part of the Arena Flegrea (built from scratch but much alike the original one in 1989 in cooperation with the same designer, Giulio De Luca) and the Nations Palace (back then, National Fascist Party Tower), from which Acanfora, later, has a reverse shot to his pans. This last building is still in a restoration phase.
