Rebuilt in 1959, after being partly destroyed, the Christomannos's Eagle rises today on the Alps. It is the monument named after and dedicated to Theodor Christomannos in the year following its death, 1912, Austrian man in the Empire period, considered to be the pioneer in the field of tourism on the Dolomites.
