The lined-up vehicles suddenly accelerate on the track and engage battle, intensely filmed during the first few laps. That year's edition was won by Finnish pilot Leo Kinnuen, known for having been the first Finish to take part in a Formula 1 race, and for doing so not wearing a full-face helmet, a practice already disappearing in those years.
