It was a long wait for the new Reggio Emilia Hospital to be finished. After the bombing of the old Via Dante location in 1944, it was decided to build a newer, more modern hospital that was opened in 1965. The frame of the building gives the opportunity of a film on geometrical forms, on volumes, on the empty spaces and on planes that buildings represent within the city space.
