The relatives of the 'tarantati' flock to St Paul's chapel, despairing, bringing pillows and votive offerings to plead the saint tol heal the sick, all amidst respectful onlookers, relatives and passers-by. Mazzeo enters the chapel and simulates an imaginative subjective 'tarantata'.
