In 1964, Giuseppe Lenzi filmed panoramas of the Sella Group near Canazei, at around 2,800 meters above sea level. The camera slowly moves over the rocky, barren landscape, which the filmmaker describes in voice-over as “desolate and sad, without a blade of grass.”
