In 1953, amateur filmmaker Giuseppe Bonvicini documented his winter excursion on the western side of the Vajolet Towers, in the Catinaccio Group between Val di Fassa and Val di Tires. The footage opens with close-up shots of the Dolomite spires, highlighting the jagged walls and peaks of the Vajolet Towers. The excursion concludes with a view of the Vajolet Hut (2,243 m), a resting point for hikers and climbers, nestled in the silence and snow of the Dolomite winter.
