In February 1967, Sante Montanari filmed a day of skiing at Corno alle Scale. From above a mountain hut, the amateur filmmaker films the valley, the slopes, and the ski lifts, also framing the sunny terrace where some people are relaxing on deckchairs, including a woman wrapped in a leopard-print fur. In a self-portrait, Montanari appears reflected in the large window of the hut while filming the scene. Brief shots finally show some birds in flight above the snowy ridges, before the sequence closes on the vast and bright panorama of the mountain.
