the Branca Tower in the Sempione Park was built in 1933, originally named "Torre Littoria". Who knows what its thoughts are, inside of its metal strings and body, while witnessing the June 2nd parade, the Republic Holiday, created upon the ashes of Fascism and fruitful of less authoritarian ideas. Once the parade is over, the everyday life resumes,and the city rolls back to own the spaces it gave its citizens - the Palazzina Appiani, the Sempione Park and the Peace Arc itself. At least, until another parade comes over.
