The 15th Fiera Campionaria in Milan, in the mid-thirties, witnesses the frenzy of progress, tradition and technology. Of course, the "Michelin Man" is still a prototype, but the block letters spelling "TELEVISIONE" give a clue about how far experiments were headed, to give birth to the new medium in the postwar.
