The Fiera del Levante "Levante Exhibition" was born in 1929, but started been called so the following year. The international trade fair lasts since then, now at its 80th edition in 2020 (not counting the war period between 1940 and 1946). Important enough so that the Dux himself, in 1934, went to Bari to congratulate with the "generoud people of Puglia" in one of his speeches.
