The Alfonsine Monument to the Resistance, the Triumph Of the Resistance, was built between 1970 and 1973 and located in the middle of Piazza Gramsci, where the building site was held. On April 10th, 1973, for the usual celebration for the Liberation of Alfonsine durig the war, the monument was inaugurated - and here the images by amateur Sauro Ravaglia show us the moments after the official event, while the authorities give their celebrating and memorial speech.
