While the Sport Protorype cars are finishing the race, the more "forumula-like" ones enter the track, ready to start flat out. That year's edition was won by Finnish pilot Leo Kinnuen, known for having been the first Finish to take part in a Formula 1 race, and for doing so not wearing a full-face helmet, a practice already disappearing in those years.
