Oliver Tambo, president of the African National Congress, speaks from the Romolo Valli theatre stage, during the "National Solidarity Conference For the Independence and Sovereignty Of the Southern Africa Poeple Against Colonialism, Racism and Apartheid" (November 25-26, 1978). The first effort of the conference is to organize an "Italian solidarity ship". The motorboat "Amanda" will sail from the harbour in Genoa in 1980 and Franco Cigarini will record its journey with a documentary.
