It's 1962, many are the bikes which move around the city streets, and still the number of cars is defintely increasing. The city is changing, buildings and building sites are thrown up in the historical city center premises. "Visit Reggio Emilia, Tricolour Flag City", a sign says at the entrance of what is nowadays known as Tricolour Flag Square. The sign is triple, even translated in French and German. The city wants to open toward the outside and the future. In the background, a voice tells of the arrival of the Polish delegation from Bydgoszcz for the signing of the twinning with Reggio Emilia.
