For the occasion, the Italian Communist Party of Reggio Emilia "Togliatti" section scheduled a roundtable named "Documentary and Political Fight", to which important names of Italian cinema, in addition to Joris Invens himself, were invited: Ugo Casiraghi, Giuseppe Chiarante, Lino del Fra, Mario Ferrero, Luciano Malaspina, Cecilia Mangini, Filippo Maone, Lino Miccichè, Gianfranco Mingozzi, Valentino Orsini, Pierpaolo Pasolini, Elio Petri, Ugo Pirro, Franco Solinas, Paolo e Vittorio Taviani, Virgilio Tosi, Antonello Trombadori and Cesare Zavattini. At the end of the meeting, the documentary is screened. Franco Cigarini saw Joris Ivens in his militant attitude, as a true master.
