Huge interest for the new incinerator wanted by Reggio Emilia City Administration and inaugurated in 1968, replacing the old waste disposal plant handled by Town Hall since 1959. The new incinerator built Cavazzoli in Via dei Gonzaga, then a suburban area and loosely dwelled, will be active until 2015.
