Loris Malaguzzi visits a child at the city Psycho-Pedagogical Medical Center of Reggio Emilia. Loris Malaguzzi, as a psychologist, was among the founders of such center in 1951. Here, for nearly twenty years, he will work with other specialists on children with handicap and school issues. The excerpt is part of the documentary "Reggio: Tricolour Flag City. Part II". The film, divided in four parts (four reels for an overall 80' running time) traces back the story of the use of the Tricolour Flag in 1797, through a medley of pictures and newspapers' articles telling the story of Reggio Emilia during the first part of the 20th Century, until the moving images about life and horse city services in the 1950s and 60s.
