Francesco's grandparents beside the wood heater which acts both as a fireplace and a stove, as it used to be in farmers' houses. In the same room would live, in fact, both the kitchen and the bedroom, on which grandma moves after checking out the pot on the stove. The scene, apparently quite spontaneous, is actually carefully set upby Francesco, who put a lamp, visible on the left of the frame, to light up the dark room and which clearly annoys Marcella, the amateur's grandmother.
