The first of the three editions of the singing event active since 1977, (filmed by RAI) organised by Tony Ruggero and Gianni Naso, Discomare was an event with performers and hit songs linked to the disco world and judged by a jury of 1000 DJs throughout Italy and 150 private radio stations. In the sequence the artists enter, among whom Peppino di Capri, Amanda Lear, Mattia Bazar, the Magic Fly perform with their costumes.
