Winter 1947–48: Ermenegildo Boccafogli films scenes in the snow at Passo Rolle, in the Trentino Dolomites. The sequences show a group of friends walking on cross-country skis along snowy trails, interspersed with views of the surrounding mountains. Recognizable buildings include the Albergo Cavallazza, located at the foot of Cimon della Pala. The final part of the film takes place indoors, likely in the same hotel, where the group gathers around a table, with the snow-covered Dolomite landscape visible through a large window.
