Filmed by Giuseppe Bonvicini between 1953 and 1954, the sequence documents rural life in Brusadaz, a mountain locality in the municipality of Pieve di Cadore (Belluno), at the foot of the Cadore Dolomites. Two women and a man are cutting grass on a high-altitude slope, showcasing traditional hay-cutting and gathering practices. In subsequent shots, two women chat near a hayloft, while cows graze in the background.
