In 1957, Nicola Tocco filmed a family trip to the Reinbach Waterfalls (Cascate di Riva) in Campo Tures, in the valleys of South Tyrol. The images open with a rocky wall filmed in low light conditions, which gives the landscape a cold, bluish hue. Shortly after, some people are seen walking on a mountain path among the conifers. The camera then frames a valley with a small town in the background, before focusing on the waterfalls: a powerful jet of water descending along the rock, surrounded by vegetation. This is followed by wider shots of the watercourse continuing through the gorge, forming rapids and splashes.
