In 1957, Enrico Bagni filmed an 8mm sequence set at high altitude, in the Pizzo Palù area. The footage captures the sunrise among the peaks, with the morning light enveloping the snowy landscape. The hikers slowly advance on the snow, filmed in silhouette against the growing brightness of the dawn.
