In 1963, Francesco Berti filmed a day of celebration and conviviality at high altitude near Lake Misérin, in the Aosta Valley, probably for the celebration of the Madonna delle Nevi on August 5th. The camera shows people gathered on the grass for a picnic and refreshment, while a brass band plays wind instruments and an accordion, enlivening the atmosphere.
