In September 1966, Sante Rudatis filmed an excursion near the G. Palmieri Hut, located at Croda da Lago, in the Ampezzo Dolomites, near Cortina d'Ampezzo. The images show the hut in the foreground, with the writing clearly visible, surrounded by imposing rocky walls and mountain spires. The camera alternates panoramas of the Dolomite peaks, partially snow-covered, with details of the alpine landscape, including conifer woods and the water surface of a small alpine lake, Lake Fedèra. Three women in period hiking attire walk on the rocky shore, while the hut and the mountains reflect on the lake's surface.
