The sequence filmed by Alberto Bianchi in 1975 on Monte Baldo — the vast pre-alpine massif dominating Lake Garda — opens with the image of a cow completely immersed in a small alpine lake to cool off. Along the dirt road that crosses the pastures, two vintage cars are noted: a red sports car and a white family sedan. Near the vehicles, some people, probably a family on an outing or excursion, are stopped and briefly converse before the shot returns to the animals. The footage concludes with a wide panoramic view: a herd of dark horses grazes on a green hill, whose silhouettes and those of the surrounding mountains are reflected specularly on the calm surface of a water puddle at altitude.
