In 1977, Ugo Sammartino filmed a brief sequence in Val di Funes, in the South Tyrolean Dolomites. The sequence opens with a shot of the little church of San Giacomo, characteristic for its panoramic position on the slope. A child looks towards the camera holding a bunch of currants, before the images move to the flowered meadows, mountains, and trees of the valley.
