In 1967, Giuseppe Lenzi filmed and provided voice-over commentary for a high-altitude stop at Punta Helbronner, near the Torino Hut (Rifugio Torino), above Courmayeur. The sequence opens with wide views of the snow-capped peaks of the Mont Blanc massif, captured in all their majesty. The camera then lingers on a hiker in front of a sharp rock face and a group of people relaxing in the sun on the hut's terrace, some in swimsuits. "It's so hot in the sun up here that you can even put on a swimsuit to get a tan," comments Lenzi, who also films himself walking shirtless on the snow, taking advantage of the break to get a tan on the glacier as well.
