Rome, June 1944. The streets are more and more crowded, and at first the main characters are the soldiers chit-chatting, with smiles and chewing-gums - and then the citizens passing by the streets lingering on the disaster caused by the bombs. It's in the past, now: the liberation of the Capital City has happened a few hours earlier.
