Without any warning, the images show the Pontedera industrial facility. What's left of it: a pile of rubbles is all that remains of the textile branch of the "Manifatture Toscane Riunite" Group, which had incorporated the "Dini Manufacturing" in the early '30s from its Milan headquarters due to the crisis. After the bombing on January 22nd, 1944, this is what was left. Upon the same place (which hosted, at the beginning of the 20th century, the Pontedera soccer team football pitch, before the factory arose) nowadays there are many non-industrail buildings.
