Some shots, out of the gallery, unveil its sorrounding - gardens, fountain and the merry model - before the camera focuses on its entrance: born in 1883 in Palazzo delle Esposizioni ("Exhibitions Hall"), with the aim of creating a permanent exhibition about contemporary art, it turned out not to have enough space and it was hence moved in Valle Giulia in 1911, where it still stands in that same building - just expanded in 1933, still due to lack of room.
