Swans and peacocks in Catania

The 'Swan of Catania'. This is how the inhabitants of the Etnean capital affectionately nicknamed the composer Vincenzo Bellini, after whom - among other things - the city's main garden, also called 'Villa Bellini', is named. It was perhaps in deference to this name that the swans in the fountain of the same garden, no longer present today, were positioned - as were the botanical decorations set up on the sides of the hill on which the small park climbs. Yet another bird roamed free in the greenery at that time: a peacock, which catches the attention of the cameraman, who launches himself in its pursuit!
