In 1969, Don Fornasari documented a tourist walk around Lake Braies (Lago di Braies), in South Tyrol (Alto Adige). The camera films groups of people and families walking along the shore, their clear reflections on the calm water, and the paths surrounded by dense fir forests. In the background appear the historic hotel overlooking the lake and the rock faces of the Braies Dolomites, partially snow-covered and reflected as in a mirror. The film also shows a tourist bus, an indication of an organized excursion, and concludes with a shot of the Chapel of Lake Braies, built in the early twentieth century in Tyrolean style and dedicated to Maria Addolorata.
