In the winter of 1960, Sante Rudatis was in Pocol, in the heart of the Belluno Dolomites, for a day outdoors on the snow-covered mountains. The sequence shows a group of hikers or skiers taking advantage of a splendid sunny day to relax on the terrace of an alpine hut. The clip opens with the rocky, snowy peaks dominating the horizon, with the wooden roof of a hut in the foreground. The guests, dressed in typical 1960s winter clothing – hats, sunglasses, scarves – sunbathe on colorful deckchairs, chatting and taking photos of the surrounding landscape.
